// About Me

Hi, I’m Shikha

I was raised in Nigeria and grew up in the multicultural melting pot of Lagos, where navigating different cultures, backgrounds, and value systems became second nature. Law runs in my family—my grandfather is a property lawyer in India, and my great-grandfather practiced law there as well. Growing up around these stories, I developed a deep respect for the power of legal guidance early on.

After earning my integrated BBA-LLB from Christ University, India, I completed my Master’s at the University of Calgary, specializing in Natural Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law. Before coming to Canada, I worked alongside senior advocates at the Supreme Court of India, an experience that sharpened my skills in advocacy, negotiation, and resolution.

Over time, I realized that the essence of law is more than rules and regulations—it’s about people. Early in my career, I saw how legal challenges can shake someone’s sense of security, and how the right guidance can completely change that experience. That’s why I became a lawyer: to transform uncertainty into clarity and turn challenges into manageable solutions. Today, I take pride in finding practical, efficient solutions that make a real difference for my clients.

When I’m not working on cases, you’ll probably find me hiking in the Rockies, trying out a new chai spot, making content on social media, or planning my next adventure—because a little curiosity and balance keeps me grounded.
